Question Will Sub box fit under bottom of back seat?

Im wondering if I can take off the part of my backseat that you have your butt on(seen below). To put my sub box in there instead?

Well I have 2 12" subs, the box fits in the backs seat also. I will be putting my amp in my trunk.

I am sure it can be done. Once you take out the back seat you could have custom fiberglass boxes made to fit back where the seats were. You would have to lose the seats. If your subs can do small boxes you would probably be better off putting them in the corner behind your taillights. Custom boxes can be pretty expensive. What brand subs you got?

I've got two 12" pyle subs, I just found out how to take the bottom part off my backseat and the body metal comes up with a hump in the middle any idea's how i can do this with my original box? This is a pic of a sub box like mine.(below)

Probably the most simple way i can think of would be to just cut the box in half and buy you a small piece of the MDF board and make two seperate boxes to fit down in where the seats were. Then you wouldnt have to worry about the hump.

Default Sub Box

Hey guys very new to this site but I love stangs and car stereo equipment. I have already posted this on a different thread but i would say go to autosoundandstyle.com they build to the specs and can make a box for anything. Me and my buddies went through them two thumbs up.

12's need a huge amount of airspace, a proper box would fill half a vert trunk. you may get away with a small box for 2 8's. 12's are too big, a small box will try pushing the air through the woofer, ripping the ring off or overexcurting the woofer.i'd say have a real nice fiberglass inlay made where your rear seats were so if you ever decide to sell the car or toss the stereo you can put it back to stock. i've hacked my notch back apart just to fit 2 10's.
