i was just wondering when everyone started loving there foxbodys me personally i hated the 74-93 models untill that is i found this one for $900 and i decided that i love mustangs so why not give it a chance so i know only dislike the 74-78 even though they were the car and driver car of the year.
I don't love the fox body but I started to like them about 2 or 3 years ago when I worked for a Ford truck dealership and one of my co workers had fox bodies and he started to teach me all the good stuff you can do to these cars. Also I like them because of all the aftermarket performance parts they have out for the foxes. And by the way if it wasn't for the Mustang II the fox would have never come out so don't rag on the II's please.
i think that the fox body is the best mustang up until 1999 when that body style came out cause my fav mustang is the 2002 Saleen. one day im gonna own one. just not anytime soon lol
Bought a 88 coupe with a 2.3 turbo for a extra motor for the MGB. Was NOT a SVO. It and wife beat me home. Well then found out she loved Mustangs. But it was unrepairable. So lost my extra motor and built the 89 coupe. Gotta keep the wife happy. Loved it after feeling the turbo hit.
I started liking them when I met my friend Kyle, he had a '93 5.0 with aftermarket headers, racing clutch, cobra rims, catback exhaust, and much more. Thing roared beautifully, first time really I knew someone with a bad ass ford. I knew a friend with a '97 Camaro Z28 but no matter what he did to it never sounded or looked anything like Kyle's Mustang. I have always liked Mustang since I was like 5 but after loving Kyle's Mustang and seeing an ad on Craigslist for my Mustang for only $900 I knew I had to get it. I knew it was nothing like his 5.0, which my friend Kyle kind of made fun of me for buying my 2.3, but once he sold his 5.0 and bought a van I was the one making fun of him.
i was 18 years old walking around simcoe ontario and started talking to this guy and he asked me if i wanted to cruise with him and his buddy, but i had to sign the "whiplash waiver"( that was his joke) 89 lx 5.0 5 speed with over 350 h.p. it was stupid fast and his buddy was driving, every time he hit a parking lot or side street hed blow 3 or 4 donuts and go the other way, he drove that car like it was attached to him at birth, and any car that pulled up to him got there ass handed to them, that car was insane, thats the first time i respected a ford,and i'll never own anything but a ford. thank chris birtch, where ever you are!
I always liked fox-body mustangs, my first car is a 92 2.3l/4-speed that I got 3 years ago and have love it ever since. Even tho they can use more power there still fun to drive.
My second car was a 91 mustang 4 banger and I loved it. So I guess about 95'. I like the style of the body and the interior. And it sits so pretty, so so pretty.
