Default 1992 mustang ignition control cut off switch , please help

ok so my car has a ignition control switch that has a key looking thing. that key has to be connected in order for the car to turn on.

key was in and car wouldn't want to turn on.... if anyone knows what i am talking about please help me out.

those are after-market theift deturent? mounts under dash . big pos that give lots of trouble, best thing to do is cut it out and reconnect factory wires together again. big G

get rid of it, it sounds like a clifford immobilzer.
