Now I know this isn't a Mustang but today at 4pm i'm going to look at a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. It's the next best thing that I was looking for (SVO). Can someone tell me stuff I should watch out for?

look at the back of the drums on the rear at the bottom, look for oil or brake fluid, if there's oil it means the axle seals are leaking, if it's brake fluid the wheel cylinders are leaking. check all 4 corners of the windsheild A-pillars for rott holes, and the floor under the car where the firewall meets the floor. the strut towers are also known for getting crusty. if it's easy to get under the car the rear bushing of the trans (5-speed) get wore, look for massive leakage out the tail stock seal.
