hello and high. im serchin the web and found this site. i curently swapped a 2.3 turbo merk in an 83 mercuri capri. this four cyl is a little diffrent then the v 8 im used to i rebuilt this motor to stock tollerences, now im wanting to go faster i need to know what if any upgrades i can do to get more hp levels with out setting it on kill? my next step is ic and a t3t4 turbo, anybody now were to get a kit or put a kit togather? also the only place i know of local to do tuning id delk in lebanon tn. any and all help will be greatly appriciated thanks cj i want to blow any jap scrap off the road or track where ever that may be

check with Evergreen Turbos and talk to Charlie about converting your T3. He is down-to-earth and will not mislead you. Once he has it and the parts in hand, it takes a 1 day turn around for the work.

A simple upgrade would be a intercooler from a Tbird, they are bigger. Slightly. I think T3's arre the ones they use atleast the carbed turbo cars used those. Convert to MAF, up the boost slightly and use bigger injectors found on V8 cars or the Turbocoupe.
Extreme upgrade, Header like from stinger performance, esslinger or Racer walsh top and bottom end parts, FMIC, Volvo head swap. No chambered mufflers though, dont really need backpressure.

I think you can get the large throttlebody intake(looks like OFFY 4bbl) and use the TB from a V8 with MAF. If you dont go wit MAF it''ll idle erratically, stall or miss apun most upgrades
