Default Here is why I registered

Hey all,
I started with an '81 2.3, then I put a 350 chev in an '85 Mustang, and now I'm putting an LS1 in an '89 Mustang.
I registered hoping to find anyone who might be interested in such swaps, including the "new hemi", because no way anyone who has ever driven a 2.3 can help but wonder about the best V8 to swap in. If this is you, let me hear from you. peace

Hey guys, quite the disagreeable greetings there. That's okay.
I do have a Camaro, and a Trans Am. And I have another LS1 going in the Trans Am. But a Mustang is just a whole different experience. And there's so much more one can do to a mustang's suspension to get it to handle. Even bolt-in SLA front suspensions. No such thing for the '82-'92 GM twins.
I also have an '88 LSC 5.0 in my '89 Mustang. But it's not staying in there.
Are you guys aware of The Orphan? Popular Hot Rodding magazine put an LS1 in a foxstang in '07. I have some links if you want. peace.

Poor stang

Its like getting an organ transplant at wal*mart.

Pull that gm and chevy junk and put a 351 in.

We are obviously not hating you just your choice of engines and giving you crap.

Youre right tho. Stangs are better cars .

I dont know what I should say. If you want to put a GM engine in your car, good for you. IfI knew how to do it I'd give you my number and talk you through it. I for one would love a TT L6 in my car Ford or other make. Technically 3gen Fbodies handle better even if they could possibly be slower. and Fat chicks look pretty good in miniskirts atleast thats how I feel.

Theres alot of adapter kits out there for such engine swaps I feel like Jegs has one but I think it would be alot easier and just about as practical to put a 351 in there with some good trickflow heads.
