I was able to squeeze two tens in mine. The box was from crutchfield, and it took me like an hour to get it in there. I had to completely take out my spare, carpet, etc. and move it around in so many angles just to get it to fit. It's not coming out anytime soon.

My wife wants the spare tire. Where else can I put it?
I put mine on top of the back seat, right beside the stock speakers. There's already square holes that are about 5 inches across. My subs are about 6.5 inches, so I just cut the holes a little to make them fit. Sorry I don't have any pics, I'll take some tomorrow and post.
You probably would not be able to fit a larger sub than about 8 inches unless you were to move the speakers to another location.
Okay, here is a picture of what I did with mine. However, I have 2 subs, so if you only have one, then the symmetry might not be great. The amp that is in the pic will not be going there, it will actually be going in the trunk.
