Hey guys,

I don't usually go on these forums, so I'm pretty new here. Anyways, I'll give you a quick rundown...bought my first stang (1992 convertible) last fall for $600. Did a ton of work, and I loved it. Then at the begining of the summer my girlfriend totalled it

SO now im on a search for what I had..and I need your opinions on this one that I wanna look at. I'll give you more updates after I talk to the guy and look at it. Thanks for any input

It's only a 4 banger... And its smoking. Maybe look into one that's running, then mod it up? I don't know. Just a thought!

Just got off the phone with the guy. It does run, it just smokes (not alot) He thinks it needs a headgasket but hes not positive...

My question is how could I tell if it IS a headgasket, or could it be something else? What should I look for? What are the symptoms of a bad headgasket?
