How much room in a hatchback?

just wondering how wide the intererior of a 86 hatchback is behind the wheel wells(between the back speakers).... my cars getting worked on, so i cant go measure...reason i need to know is because i just got some new subs...im hoping its 45" or more.. could someone help me out? thanks

Not sure of the exact width, but here is an install idea from a car I used to have... What size subs are you going with? These were 10" but there was plenty of room for 12" subs...I have more pics of the hatch area if you are interested.

I have a 92 mustang hatchback, I think it close to your 86 hatchback. and on mine it's 36" between the speakers
