Unhappy 2.3 Mustang Parting out? ? for a chevy?

Sorry guys and gals!! Im selling my little 1988 2.3 L Mustang... And yes, Im going chevy.. My father is selling me a 1971 chevelle SS for 1,500 canadian.. I couldn't resist, although it had the 454 riped and replaced with a 305... and its an auto trans.. and the trans needs a new pan.. and some body work (doors, quater panels).. But Im going to miss yall!!!!!! !~PEACE~!

Well nothing wrong with going for a Chevelle. I always loved those 70 model Chevelles with quad headlights. Is the 71 the same body style, or is 71 when they went to single headlights on each side? Either way though, dump the 305 and build a smokin' 383 stroker! Heh!

71 has the single round lights in front, and the quad lights in the back.. close to the 70, but a bit different. Thanks man
