I spent the whole day at the shop and put a new front end on.
I was told that the front end is from a 1993 mustang but a guy i work with told me this front end is from like an 1980. He said on the older ones the black part in the front doesn't go all the way around. On the 93's they do Any thoughts?
I know it's not the same side that was hit but this is less than 24 hours after the wreck ( Did it myself ) http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/v...2/afterfix.jpg
I'll have more pictures up later on.
And also I have a question. Someone from here told me a STOCK 2.3L 4 banger has 88-100 horse power and tops out at 102.
What is the official horse power on a STOCK 2.3L 4 banger 1992 mustang LX?
Thanks guys.

yes thats right 88 hp on the 87 -91 and from 92-93 they had 110 hp because of the dual plugs.
Actually, 88hp on the 87-90 (and probably all efi models pre-90) and about 105hp on the 91-93. The gain in hp can also be explained from the roller camshaft they had.

91'-93' have the ranger engines in them. We can't use the cam out of the ranger to give it a tiny bit more hp cause we already got it. I thought I read somewhere 108 hp for the duel plugs?
I wiki everything, lol. You can probably say you have more than that though with some of those mods you've done, but let's be honest here, 20 years of carbon build-up is just sitting in your engine. That stuff robs so much hp.
I ran my finger inside of the throttle body the other day, and my finger came out with black disgusting gunk on it. And that is just the throttle body, think of how bad the valves are, lol.
The only thing I would be wondering is how Ford did their dyno-pulls? Was it to the RW or just an engine pull?
