Default 1988 ford thunderbird brakes

Ok i have a 1988 ford thunderbird turbo coupe with abs brakes on it i was going to put new rotors and brake pads on but the rotors have the abs gears on them which makes them very expensive. Is there any kind of conversion that i could do to change it to something like mustangs or anything. thanks

you really want to screw around with ABS? it's not really reccomended, can you get your set machined? if you put it into perspective if you pay for new ones you won't have to buy them again for a long time. you could measure the rotors and see if the mustang or older t-bird use the same size rotor, but your abs will be gone. shop around for cheaper prices.

The tone rings are only on the front rotors. On the rear they are on the axles. The TC has bigger rotors than a regular t bird . Sorry thats the only rotor you can use on that car.
