Default My 1989 Mustang SVO - <3 It

Save for I just blew a turbo seal, this baby has..

2000KM on freshly rebuilt motor
magnaflow straight exhaust
120A 3G Alternator
Rare Hyundai paint job
Keyless Entry
Eibach Springs
Tokiko Shocks/Struts
Subframe Connectors
MM Camber Plates
Custom hood w/ hood pins
5.0 front brakes
Progressive rims
BF Goodrich tires

Many other small additions, I also have a replacement rear end to make it stick out a bit more (out of a TC)

Over 200+ horsepower out of this little 2.3 engine, getting about 13lbs boost at 2500RPM.

I plan on doing an injector upgrade to make it safe at 18lbs boost.

What do you think?

air comes in through the scoops and gets sucked in through the cold air which in turn goes into the intake of the turbo, and air gets sucked through the impellor which jets out into the intercooler and from that into the intake itself.

the ram air on a svo is only to cool the intercooler, not for intake air., this car may have a front mount intercooler, seeings how the top mounts get heat soaked from the turbo being right under it.

As for the TC rearend, just swap the axles for the effect.

Just curious, why do you call it an SVO?

Just another turbo-Ford, that's all. An SVO ain't just a Mustang with a turbo-4 in it.

Just for fun though... Navy, what does an SVO have that makes his mustang just another turbo-ford???
