Default What is the widest tire i can fit on a 15x7 rim?

I have 235's on there now but i was wonderng if i could fit maybe 275's?

275 stands for milimeters so that would be about 10.8 inches If you have 235 then that is 9.25 inches. thats a whole inch and a half your trying to get on that rim. If the sidewall is tall then it should work. that would also look weird so id go with 265 or 255 or 245. You just have to make sure the overall diameter stays the same and it depends on what tire you are looking at if it comes in one of those sizes.

i have 245's on my 16x8. i like the way they fit. you are going to loose handling by going with a tire thats wider than the wheel. buy bigger wheels. i got mine for $200 with tires that are still on it
