There is another thing conected to the part where the shifter linkage connects to the trans, it runs up to the throttle. What is this ill have pics of this tomorrow. Mine is disconnected and i don't know if this the hurting my car. Thanks

i would say its probely your vacum kick down

Sounds like the throttle preasure linkage. It is also used for kick down. Just a guess without seeing it.
