hey guys, im buying another 2.3 love mine, but i wanted to try something unusual... im looking at a few mustangs, and i wanted to make it a collaboration type build... just thinking it would be something new... now i know some of you guys have stronger skills than others so i wanted to make this an 'all ford mustangs' mustang.. i want you guys to let me know what to do... of course its not going to be anything crazy.. probably not a 900 horse 4 banger but a wild ride any ways. so i want you guys to tell me what your ideas are... with your suggestions under my supervision we can build something nasty... let those 5.0 guys know whats up... just let me know if your down. thanks.

im personally a man on a budget, but i have a lot of friends. machine shops parts stores etc. i want to do this one right.. take it all the way down... just have fun with it
I've been thinking about a rear engine 2 seater for a little while... That would be something new and out of the norm. It would probably involve a lot of work though and some mad fabrication skills... along with a few special parts.
an interesting idea and a vw tranny, with an esslinger kit would make it happen, but thats a little off base from where id like to head this project. but if enough people see it your way then so it is... but id like to do something classy... but keep the ideas flowing
ok how about something a little less expensive and challenging
how about 2.3t with a boport head stinger fmic cobra rear end with IRS drilled sloted roters kyb shocks struts roller cam t3/t4 hybrid turbo mass air and mega squirt (some things off the top of my head.)
I'm going to get a foxbody with a spent 2.3l and replace it with a 6 cyl. from a taurus or ranger. What about a FWD mustang? Lol. Not me though, maybe you. But i'll do the 6 cyl here after mine is right, and i'm getting there.
You know, we should all chip in a few dollars and make something awsome together! Some sort of crazy 2.3 twin turbo direct fuel injection monster... lol. I would be down!
We should continue gathering ideas on this subject.
Post your idea even if you think it is stupid or rediculous!
Here's something a little different. I just brought it home yesterday. '27 Model T Roadster pickup with my turbo'd 2.3.
Down low, fenderless and with a track nose. Oh, the possibilities!

NICE!!! How much did you pay for that rusT Roadster? Could you take some more pictures of your rotated upper intake manifold? Keep the 2.3 in the mustang and get another one for the model T! This is a start though, keep the ideas coming!
