There is a nice SVO near buy. Its listed as a 85 and 1/2... not sure what he mean.

So tell me why the hell would me and my dad pay a premium for a 4 banger mustang?

Ohhh and what the performance like? O-60, 1/8mile, 1/4mile, HP numbers? (210 isnt it??), what about Torque, Performance Upgrades? (Im assuming upping the boost)

stock its way lighter than a 5.0 and with about 100 dollars of upgrades ittl make 350 rwhp. 85 1/2 i believe is the year with the beefiest turbo. the svo is a really rare car on top of that. value is only going to go up over time.

i cant give u an accurate track time, but ive been told its a very fun car to drive. not to mention the fact it gets about 30mpg

85.5 and 86 had the same turbo. Nothing magnanimous about it. It just has a lower boost threshold that the 84 and early 85s did. For quicker spool up the lower number is good. For higher RPM the higher number is good.

It was a rare and limited edt car even when new...it had alot of things the GT didn't have like 16" rims, recaro seats 3:73 rear gears and a higher price tag...it will be difficult to upgrade and repair compared to a 5.0, I think they made something like 225 hp in the day/stock, so 1/4 mile in 14s/15s would be reasonable

Yep, and a whole lot more differences. That is one huge reason for the higher price tag.

84 and early 85 175 HP
Late 85 205 HP
86 200 HP

All these were advertised HP though

YEah, Id like to know what you can get for 100 bucks and get 145 more hp for a turboed car or any car.

Please, please, please tell me this is actually a joke... If it isn't, please leave this forum ()... downforce would only give your tires grip... not make horsepower. And the double racing stripes on a fox-body is the WORST thing you could ever do. I have seen about 5-6 in my area, and they all look REDICULOUS!!!

An SVO already has a bi-wing spoiler, unless it's a bi-wing delete car, and then it still has a single spoiler.
