That guy lives 3 hours away so Im scrapping that plan. Major bummer
Im going to order the ebay springs. Ill be sure to let you guys know how they work out.

On a side note. Im having some issues with the fuel pump whining and poor performance. It makes my SVT Focus feel like a ferrari. Im going to replace the fuel filter tomorrow. Hopefully it will take care of it.
The turbo spools up nicely and then winds right back down. Sometimes it will pull really hard for a few thousand RPMs but then it just dies. I was reading my Haynes repair manual and found these problems can be caused by a clogged fuel filter or fuel lines. Possibly even a bad fuel pump.

I think the guy at autozone gave me the wrong fuel filter . I followed all of the fuel lines and I dont see anything like what he gave me. Is the filter under the hood

If memory serves me it does not have one????? I may be wrong though. Check all the way to the engine it may have one on the firewall. Been a long time since i worked on one of them. TOM

I thought I'd bump this thread to let you guys know I tried to put on the front springs. It turns out its a real beach so Ill be paying a mechanic to do that for me

Heres a few more pictures of the SVO now that Ive taken my buffer to it and repainted all the black trim pieces.
I was unable to revive the paint on the hood. Its completely dead so Ill be getting that repainted.

If I had some wide tires in back and skinnys up front it would look like it was ready for the track . I just got off the phone with the mechanic and he said $110 to put on the front springs. Not too bad considering the headache I'm saving myself

i have an 84 svo and i need fuel lines and a engine bay wiring harness know where to get those parts cant find them
