Default Internally Oiled Turbochargers?

I did some pre shopping for a turbo last year about this time and found a few internally oiled turbos for about $200. I can;t find them now. Does anyone know where i could find one? Doesn't have to be fancy or name brand, just internally oiled.

Never heard of them. Even the rear car mounted turbo's are oiled from motor and have pump to put the oil back in motor.

++++++ I removed on from a mustang a year or so ago and use it to hold the door open to my office when the weather is NICE. Other than that thats about all they are good for. Save up for a good turbo like a garret or a holeset.

Here is a photo of a good turbo and reasonably priced.

An Internally Oiled turbo keeps using the same oil over and over. When it uses the oil from the motor its always fresh and clean. Its really the way to go.

And I like Turbonetics turbo's, pretty spendy tho.

internally oiled sounds terrible. thats like being on the plane and breathing the same air over and over. you just cant wait to get out and take a deep breath. i like your doorstop idea tom.

yea seriously. i was looking at turbonetics the other day...i need to win the lotto before i think about buying one of those.

speaking of shopping...other than ebay is there a good place to go direct for a turbo. i already looked at garrett. who sells what? where? evergreen? majestic?

i never hurd of an internally oiled turbo.. im not sure it would work either.. with all the heat it would break down the oil rather quickly.. you may have seen a procharger or something like that and thought it was a turbo? they house their own oil...

NO EBAY!! you get what you pay for, no turbo should be internally oiled, some superchargers are but thats a different story.

Garrett, turbonetics, greddy, hks, there are all kinds of brands.. If your gonna turbo your 2.3 do it the right way not some knock off ebay turbo.
