Default Restoring my foxbody

Well some of you know me. My first car (in my sig)

Well I started restoring it. I'm in need of some help (money's tight)

I need all new window motors.. does anyone know where to get refurbished ones for cheap?

Also i need carpet. I know I'm going to have to buy this new, and I want to, but where's the cheapest place to do so?

Also where can i buy a cheap ragtop? I looked on JCwhitney but they are way over priced from what I have heard.

Any vets that want to help me out and give me advice, I am more than open to sugestions. And I will keep you posted as i continue to work on my stang.

Well I'm going to change the 8 spark plugs on my 4 cyl. lol.
Thanks guys....

Cody.

yea, just did that same thing yesterday. them 8 plugs help us gas wise, but the driver side is sure a pain to get at . just remember to do em one at a time or your life wil get aggravating.

When find good top let me know. Way I understand expensive to get replaced. I guess in future I will learn how to replace that also. On your window motors are you sure they are bad. Reason I say that. On my 89 both didn't work. It was in the wiring driver side going to switch. Try putting 12vdc to the plug connection and see what happens reverse the wires to go other direction. I read somewhere the gears on the rear motors go bad. Mine needs them. Motors run nothing happens. This is on my other car not the one in the signature. Maurice

Regarding carpet.

Most retail restoration shops get their carpet from the same company, ACC. JC Whitney, Year One, Late Model Resto all of them sell ACC carpet. Find out who's cheapest and go from there.

I found it with decent prices from 50 Resto. Is the carpet torn/ripped or just stained? A standard carpet shampoo with a shop vac should do a fine job cleaning it up. I plan on trying that on my carpet in the back of the LX.
