you can run crazy booste in an svo motor.... thats about the limit to my 2.3L knowledge. At 21-23psi expect about 300hp and 325ft.lbs of TQ

Here is a few good videos of acceleration with different psi's

Its really go turbo or go home with this motor.

They start with around 200hp then work your way up from there with mods.

Time and money. That all you need.

My 89 lx svo conversion has never been to a 1/4 mile but I have beaten a chevy silverado 1500, a 1992 Ford t-bird 5.0, and a few ricers. I running with a stock computer, head and injectors and only 17 psi of boost (15 is stock). I have a larger intercooler and turbo but it's basically stock and I dyno at 213 rwhp and 243 tq. I think a stock 86 5.0 is 175 flywheel hp and 87-93 is 225 flywhel hp. I'm at about 240. As far a speed goes, I don't know because I peg the 85 mph speedometer in 4th gear at 4000 rpm.

I posted that run for the wheelie. That's what had initially gotten my attention.

5900 rpm in 4th in my car is 120 MPH. I swapped out my original 85 MPH speedo for a 120, and Its made me much happier.

Dude just messing around. I meant no harm just thought it was a cool thing to do. If you are ever in the area i will take you for a spin in it and a beer. I apoligize DUDE. By the way this is the only one in this country. There were only 4 made and i think this is one of two left. So chances of you guys seeing one is quite rare. I figured it would be neat for you guys to see a one of a kind car. Peace tom.
