i was wondering if anyone knew a relatively inexpensive way to increase the horsepower in a '89 lx 2.3L and how much horsepower does it have.i was thinking of buying one with 125000km's for around 1600 and im not sure if its worth it if it only has 88 hp,the rest of the car is in pretty good shape.so if anyone could give me there opinion on it that would be really awesome.

P.S. it would be my first car

yes I think u should buy the mustang for that price it's a really good idea for that many k's I've had 3 and they have about 110 horsepower I think it would be a great idea to buy it, I aslo have a few tips on horse power gain u can add a k&N air filter a straight pipe exhaust with glass pack and a header and u could also bash out the baffling in the ford air intake. ok well hope that helps ya have a goodone
