Unhappy Help Me Please!!!

Help me please guys. To start I am not a mustang owner but my dad is. (1986 SVO 2.3L Turbo) He loves his SVO and I grew up loving it aswell. I was driving it the other day and it started to lightly smoke. I pulled over and b4 I turned off the engine I glanced at the temp gadge and it was hot. I opened the hook and it looked like there was a little oil on the manifold. once it cooled off I tried turning it back on and it sounded as if it was only running on 2 cyl. (obviously kept stalling then) Along with that, the throttle would not respond. My dad came and took a look at it and got it started and got it to rev, so he took it home (I followed in my car). I dont know what's wrong and I feel responsible. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do. I would love to fix it for him. He loves this car, as do I. Please help me guys, I know someone out there knows what's wrong with it.

Sounds like a blown headgasket between two cylinders. Do a compression check. You can get a compression gauge from your local parts store. Hope this helps. Kendal
