Default Looking to buy an SVO... hows this one?

This is a link to a for sale thread for a 1984 SVO.

ive always loved mustangs, my dream car was always a 5.0 but seeing as this is more power, sheaper, and rare... not to mention a turbo... i was thinking of this. ive talked alot to the guy about it and he's near me...

what do u guys think?

It looks like it could be a pretty good deal. I would want to see and drive it before deciding to make an offer of purchase. Would also recommend having it checked out by a mechanic before buying as well. SVO Mustangs are becoming increasingly rare and are definately increasing in value.er

It looks awesome with the late-model Mustang wheels on it, I'm not sure I'd pay $3500 for it, but it is a decent car overall. And it DOES come with the original wheels, turbo, etc, all stuff you could sell to help offset the price later... I'd be pretty tempted.

1976 Ford Mustang II Ghia: 302 with a 600cfm Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock Performer 289 intake, Dynomax Blackjack headers, 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44s. RJS 11-gallon fuel cell, C4 tranny, chrome 16" pony wheels, fuzzy dice, brown vinyl half-top, and painted in the tackiest color ever (harvest gold, that's why I call it "The Goldenrod").

Also have a 2003 Dodge Ram (lightly modded daily driver/tow rig/office/dining room/home away from home/workshop... I call it "The Big Blue Dawg".)

well now hes saying i wont get any of the original parts wiht the car... i dunno... hes giving me alot of trouble about fixing the heater core and dash and keeps saying he wants more money... basically to take it as is with replaced shocks, dash, heater core, and injectors he wants 4500... what do u think?

If he is dicking you around, Id leave it. If he has said one thing, than changed it, who knows what could be different about the car he isnt telling you.

I got one in much better condition than that one about a week ago for $3K that included all of the original parts. Keep looking, you will find a better deal. Get the word out and post flyers in your area. You might get luck and find one near you that is just sitting in someones driveway.
