Hey I was just wanting to get some feedback on my 2.3L 86 notch.?.?.
To start off I bought the car for $700 bucks and since then it has went through a major transformation as you can see... I knew I wanted to make it a special edition of my own but I wasn't quite sure what to go with until I started looking at SALEENS...
To start off I had the 86 4-eyed front end swapped out for a SLN fiberglass front bumper along w/ a 3in fiberglass hood and Z3 fenders
I went with an AXE GTR rear bumper as well as AXE sideskirts.
spoiler is off of a 95 GT and has the ends cut off and flipped upside down.(Different looking)..
Inside I have a PS2 mounted in the dash with a 7.5in LCD moniter as well as a custom fiberglass enclosure for my 10in fosgate punch
18" crome COBRA R rims w/ Kuhmo low pro's
Hijacker air suspension kit
recently I had the motor rebuilt and bored. it has a 2300 Holley carb w/ a 4spd tranny
To tell you the truth it does not matter what anybody thinks about your ride. If you love it go with it. A clean good running ride is more than a lot of people have. You have the right idea about details but don't go too much more with the colored wire loom unless you want the import look; but hey if that is what you like go for it. I Have a 99 and would love to have paint job as nice as yours. You don't have to have a V8 to get the V8 respect because face it; not offend to the women who are very tech savy, but most girls will not even know that it does not have a V8.
Good point, most ladies dont care about the motor, they just want it to look pretty. or as guys would put it "looks awesome." Either way your still getting some from the ladies.

Looks very good. You did a nice job! Personally, I think you oughta put it in the weeds! Low is good! And, when you get tired of getting blown off by 5.0's, drop a turbo motor in it and proudly display the 2.3 badge.

I was thinking about getting that bumper....now that I see it on a fox it makes me want one even more. the car looks awsome. Drop a 93-95 Lightning motor in it..Hehe.
looks clean, good job under the hood keeping everything sanitary, most 2.3s look like they're on life support with all the wires and hoses they need to keep things going.
Bodywork is real clean too. Drop a 2.3 turbo or a V8 in at some point in the future and you'll have a completely badass little 'stang. Well, either that, or keep upgrading the carbureted 2.3, people really underestimate them... heh heh.
