cool yes but like kscoyote said, glass is heavy. so for you that wouldnt ba great solution since u wanna lose weight. I think i read somewhere that u can get rid of 80 lbs or so if u go through the car and remove the sound deadening material....which dont seem to work in my car anyway. try fibergalss or carbonfiber (hoods, doors, hatch). i saw a guy completely remove his dash and just but up a metal box to hold the necessary stuff.

1987 hatchback mustang
2.3L, replaced to a '89
Air silencer removed
t-5 all the way
1400 watt sound system w/ twin 12" chrome subs

i have a 91 hatch and yes indeed on the fuckmobile part but i just removed everything from the back of the front seats to the very back to reduce weight for more speed and more miles on the gallon. when i took out the rear seat it felt like they weighed about 35 to 40 pounds alltogether but 100 lbs that is really a little to much to guess now if you did everything i took out it will probably be about 100 lbs all together. i also took of my aircondioning compresser and tubing and one of the tensioner pulleys to reduce more weigh the compresser is about 20 to 25 lbs all together.

Someone tell me how much weight you lose by going FG on the hood and trunk

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster
