From the looks of things the carburetor is supposed to bolt on sideways and use the stock throttle cable bracket from a carbureted 2bbl. 2.3 (check your local junkyard for the bracket from a Mustang II, Pinto, Bobcat, Capri, Courier, Ranger, etc.) Also, use a thick carb flange gasket since the manifold is used, that will help prevent vacuum leaks from an uneven flange. (I can't remember the application, but if you grab the Mr. Gasket 4bbl. carb gasket of the performance shelf at any parts store (the one with four individual holes of equal size) and tell the guy at the counter you want a thick one like that, he should be able to go dig one up for you, I'm using one of those on all of my 4bbl. carburetors, I know the one I'm using is specified for a Ford, just don't remember which one.)
