ok.... so what sub box is everyone using that has subs???
I've got the fox trunk style and almost nothig fits!!! 8in's are the easiest to put in, but I like 10in's.... and the average box wont fit!!!! so, one can get a s-10 truck style box an lay it down and you'll be fine!!! there's even places to mount the amps!!!! one or two if you have a small mono amp!!!
and 200watts are plenty for these little cars!!!
I have 2 10's in a sealed box in mine. I got it at Circuit City, I'm sure you can find the same type. Or have someone custom build you a box. My brother made one to utilize the spare tire well with 1 15 inch that's bridged. It's only about an inch and a half taller than the hatch floor and he even cut out a running horse emblem, then carpeted the whole thing. I'll have to get pics of it next time he comes to my house.

I have one 12" jlaudio W7 that is in the biggest box it comes in from the company. It fits nice in my 88' fox. I just had to put some brackets in to make sure it doesn't bust out my window again. Boy does this thing thump... I just had to leave the rear seat backs down.
I don't have subs yet, still trying to get the car sorted out and get some power adders. But I would like to have 4 10"s in the back with around 500+watts

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...
Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster
with the hatch, one can get all boxes in, but the trunk!!!! those boxes are limited to 8in's if you want square type box or wedge style boxes for any thing over a ten....
1200 watts!!!! WOW... you can be heard from where????
years ago a buddy of mine had a gt, he had 2 EV subs (12in) in it.. he had to plexy glass his rear window and side windows, as they used to blow out!!! they would either shatter, or bounce out of the car!!! when you sat in the front seats, you got a full body message!!!! and that was at a quater volume!!
1200 isnt enough. Got mine 1400 watt subs, twin chrome 12", only 800 watt amp, but imm crank that up soon.
im gonna take the rear seats out and put em there, HOW YA DOIN!

I have 2 12" xtants in a down fire box that fits under the back deck lid in my notch. i had to take out the spring bars that open it up, but i put in convertable springs in its place, works great pushing about 750 watts and is pretty loud.

I have 2 12" Sony Xplod subs in a custom box. With a 900 watts amp and a half a fared capacitor that thing pumps. I have no idea what it will sound like in my mustang but I really hope it doesn't blow out the glass.
I have 2 Type R's in a hatchback box and a Rockford Fosgate P1000 amp. The subs are 500RMS 1500MAX each. The amp is 1000RMS at 1 OHM. It's the loudest system I've ever put in. "Shallow Mount" subs will fit in places where others won't maybe you should give them a try...Oh yeah don't forget the Dynamat!!! Awsome and inexspensive upgrade to any sound system.
