Default 1989 Mustang LX Cold Air Intake,?

Hey Ive Seen the make your own Cold air intake. But i have been wondering about the vacuum lines coming from the stock air box. and if you can direct me to a great tutorial on just the cold air intake sorry i do know about the search page but the best one ive seen in sleepers. Any way to do this cheaper? Thanks

PVC pipe is always an option. The vacuum lines from the stock air box? There is only one line and its "T"ed off at the EGR vacuum supply line

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Correct me if im wrong but dident we alreaddy have this conversation dont worrie about the vac lines, they to the egr anyways. the thread is on the third page of 2.3 tech, look for it some where going twars the end. easy hp gain.heres the finished product

The top one is the one you plug. The bottom on id on a valve that opens when your cars cold so it can suck warm air from around the exhaust

So A Cold Air Intake won't affect running in winter? Sleeper you know how cold it gets here. Thanks.

Oh ****, -50*C in winter (ahhh lol)

It shouldn't affect it. But if you want to be safe weld on a bung big enough to let the warm air hose on during winter

Where did you get your CAI? and what did you end up doing to the vacuum lines from the airbox and did you connect your Air Charge Temperature Sensor (ACT) to the CAI?
