Default How much power would an intercooler add?

My friend has a 80 turbo capri and wants to add an intercooler. I know it will take some fab work but what can i expect to gain?

intercoolers don't add power by themselves, but would (could?) allow for a more aggressive tune and/or more boost.
Am I right, fellow AFM'ers?

What said above is the truth.

It doesn't add power, it just lets you be able to run more timing, and boost which means more power

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Even cosidering on the old carb turbo engines there is no space between the carb and turbo at all. Just the drop in intake temps should make a difference. Am I wrong in this logic???
