New member here. Last week I picked up a 1992 Mustang convertible 2.3 as a second car just to fool around with. My F-150 hasn't been out of the garage since! What a blast. No, I'm sure not looking to race it but it's been fun to work on and a real kick just to tool around in. I've lurked around the posts on this site for a week now and have been really impressed with everyones consideration, knowledge of Mustangs and willingness to help! I learned a lot about my new ride and want to thank everyone on here for that!

Unfortunately, mine is an auto. The transmission is tight BUT, I've had a few 4 bangers years back and you're right. The manual is a LOT more fun! with only 80k miles on it, I picked the car up cheap so I can't complain.

Ya know, I've read a lot about the turbo on here. That might be in the future! The first thing I have to do is get the front seal on the transmission replaced. Seems I have a drip when hot! I've already gutted the air intake box as suggested on here. I've ordered a K&N. (Really made my F-150 5.4 sound nice!) Then I'm going to work on the exhaust. Those cats have got to go I think. The EGR block sounds like a good idea after that. Any other suggestions? Like I said, I'm not looking to race but it would sure be nice to get a little more "oomph" when I hit the gas!
