Changing a clutch on a Mustang is actually very easy.
1) Remove console plates around shifter and remove shifter.
2) Remove driveshaft and plug tailhousing to prevent fluid from spilling out. Depending on how your exhaust is run you may have to remove or loosen part of it.
3) Remove speedometer cable, clutch cable, and other electrical hookups.
4) Remove crossmember.
5) Remove the 4 bolts that connect the
tranny to the bellhousing and remove transmission.
6) Remove starter.
7) Remove bellhousing. (Have plenty of socket extensions and swivels on hand for the top bolts.)
8) You are now at the clutch.
