Default 2.3 to 4.6 Engine swap
I have a 92 2.3L Mustang LX, Im looking at a 4.6 HO out of a 94 or 95 Gand Marqius I want to put in my Stang. Any sugestions on what I would need, motor mounts ect. or are the 4.6 motors relitivley the same. I practicly rebuilt my 2.3L motor but always good to hear from other Mustang owners. Thanks.

Hot Rod Magazine and several of the Mustang mags have done 4.6 into fox-body swaps, check their websites and you should be able to find the articles online.

1976 Ford Mustang II Ghia: 302 with a 600cfm Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock Performer 289 intake, Dynomax Blackjack headers, 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44s. RJS 11-gallon fuel cell, C4 tranny, chrome 16" pony wheels, fuzzy dice, brown vinyl half-top, and painted in the tackiest color ever (harvest gold, that's why I call it "The Goldenrod").

Also have a 2003 Dodge Ram (lightly modded daily driver/tow rig/office/dining room/home away from home/workshop... I call it "The Big Blue Dawg".)
