any recommendations? I like NGK double platinums and mobil1 0-40.(I use 0-40 in my envoy and g-35) How would they do in a '93 2.3 with 60k miles.

i suggest seeing what the previous owner used.my 2.3 in my ranger has 380k plus miles on it,does not smoke,still runs well.i have allways used havoline 10w30,and regular autolite plugs.

I had a 1991 2.3liter ranger when I was younger. I drove to washington state(from san antonio) and back w/o any problems. It never gave me any problems. that is why I am going to buy this car. it may be a little old, but I konw those 2.3's are reliable.

If the ignition is stock, use Autolights in the plug holes.
