I found a cheap '87 t-bird turbo coupe that doesnt run bad but has a knock but im planning on just rebuilding it if i actually buy it for my MII. Now my question is how much boost can those 2.3's handle. And where could i find all the parts for them?

Its an '88 turbo coupe with the 5spd.

im building a 87 turbo coupe motor to and ive seen some spike 25psi but you hav eto have a strong head gasket

o and yes your 87 and 88 turbo coups do come with a 5 speed

There was a guy running like 35psi on a 2.3 with the sock internals. I can't remeber the web site though.
