I'm just wondering how much it would cost to paint my 91 lx 2.3. Also does anyone know if a T-56 would fit on this car. How much modification would I have to do to get it to fit?

The T 56 will not fit the bell housing is different. It would be cheaper to buy a world class T5 in the long run.

For the cost of getting the car painted, it varies from color, how much clear, what you want, etc. I'm geting mine painted at the school I go to, all i have to pay is for the supplies and I'll get it all prepped, sanded, dents/dings fixed, and get it painted dark blue with black flames for less then $500. It will take a little bit for them to get my car done next year but it's cheap.

It is silver right now and I want to paint it black and I probably won't be able to do it myself. So what do you think it would cost for a good paint job?

You'd haff to buy the engine it could mate to, and a aftermarket K-member that has no engine mounts. Cause thats my plan. Buy a T5 with a double overdrive i see adds for them al the time.

What do you mean a T5 with a double overdrive? I thought that the T5s were only 5-speed transmissions.

T5 is only 5 speed, TKO is a 6 speed, T54 is also a 5 speed no?
