Default Stock valvetrain options for 2.3

Was there ever a roller valvetrain available in a 2.3 off of the production line. No matter the model used. (mustang, ranger, Xr4ti, etc)

Also, does anyone know what the largest stock camshaft ever used was?

89 and up Ranger and 91&up Mustang. Basically all of the dual plug 2.3s had roller followers. The roller cams are the same between the two models, it just got tagged as a Ranger Roller by enthusiasts.

Watch out for the 98? and later 2.3/2.5 engines. The valves had a smaller stem diameter and the followers won't work on the early 2.3 valves.

In truth, while the cams have different lobe lifts, they are very close if not similar in lift at the valve. The follower ratio evens things out.
