Thumbs up I'm A Speed Addict With A 4Cylinder Automatic

First of all, Hey Guys, I'm EpicNightMayor, Real Name's Patrick...
I just bought a White 1993 Mustang LX(4Cylinder,Automatic) off of craigslist for $2,600 with 133,956 Miles on it.
It has red interior, I personally like it because everyone else hates it.
I don't really have any money,
but I would love an audio system in the car though....
Any Suggestions?
Also, I know that some people name their cars,
Any suggestions for that also?
Thank you to all who reply with suggestions.....

A speed addict with an automatic 4 cylinder?
What you need is a 5-speed 302 with a couple of turbos!

that would sort of depend on the shape of the body and stuff like that, but I don't think that it would be too much more that what you paid. A speed addict realy needs a V8 in my opinion. Unless, you want a turbocharged 4 banger! But, then again it will cost some $$$$.

Welcome to the forum fellow stanger. Pete 5.0 basically said it all. If you want speed, you'll probably want something with atleast 8 cylinders. That's why i got my '05 stang gt for and my little '90 convertbale to cruise in with her 2.3. So you could do 1 of a few options. You could 1. get a Mustang gt 2. do an engine swap in your '93 (to a 302, like what I'm doing, or a 351) for example) or 3. rip out that 2.3 and build it from the ground up basically. That's what your going to need to get the power and speed you want.

You don't need 8 cylinders to go fast. if you have 4cylinders, a brain and a turbocharger, you can hurt some V8 feelings.

I will say though that a stock 4cyl is to a speed addict what Methodone is to a heroin junky.

As far as naming the thing...

Well... I've named every car I've ever owned except two projects I've sold before completion...

1975 Chevy pickup? "Ol'Blue"
1984 Camaro? "Baby"
1974 Mustang II? "Nadine"
1995 Chevy S10? "Sweetheart"
1975 Thunderbird? "Bessie"
1994 Saturn SL1? "Goes Everwhere, but Nowhere FAST!"
1987 Mustang GT convertible? "Jynx"
1988 Mustang LX convertible? "Lily"
1987 Mustang GT hatchback? "Pinky"
2003 Dodge Ram 1500? "Bluebonnet"
1976 Mustang II? "Butterscotch"

Why did I list them... well, there's no rhyme or reason to naming a car, it's just gotta be something that hits ya while you're in it, looking at it, or thinking about it. I named my Dodge after parking it in a field of bluebonnets and shooting a few shots... had the paint waxed so well you couldn't tell where the ground and sky met because they were reflecting off the truck perfectly. I named my '74 Mustang II after an old girlfriend, I named my '84 Camaro when the absolute first thing I said driving her on the test drive was "Baby, you corner like you're on rails!!!" and it stuck, we can all suggest things, but it's gotta be something that means something to you for it to stick.
