idle control valve vs. idle air control valve.?

Default idle control valve vs. idle air control valve.?
what is the difference? I have an idle problem that I think I have narrowed down to these two contraptions. can someone let me know which one I should change first?

try the IAC.....IDILE AIR CONTROL..i'mnot sure with your set up...comon problem with the 5.0
