Default I trying to power up my stang. 1990 Mustang LX

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to power up my 1990 2.3L 4-cylinder Mustang LX. The problem is that I'm not sure what I need to install to make it more powerful. I have a feeling that it could perform better and I could use some help. Also, I don't have a lot of cash so if you can I need to know the cheaper little things that will help out. I'm trying to give it power without loosing to much fuel economy if at all possible. So I'm open for suggestions. I need to know as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Crazy Yankee

For the most part, the more power the better the economy.. But I don't know too much about the 2.3, sorry

a cam out of a 91-93 mustang or 89-95 ranger would add some power, um you can get a cai, or a K&N filter will add some power and some mpg...not alot but some. also new exhaust if you havent replaced it already..because all those years of crap built up in the cats will do a number on your performance..also an underdrive pulley sytem would also so some numbers on the car...also give it a tune up and it would give it some power..and if you want shave the heads..
