not to sure about a computer problem

well i have seft a thread before about my mustang not getting any spark and i have narrowed down all problems to the brain. well the thing is that when i got the brain out i ahd the vin numbers checked and the brain in my car was for a auto tranny and mine is a 5 spd. what would be the diff and did that mess anything up.

No. My '91 is a factory automatic car that now has a 5spd and still runs the automatic ECU with no problems.
