hey guys
so ill just get right to the point, i just bought a 79 indy 500 pace car mustang with a 2.3L turbo and a 4 speed transmission. does anyone know alot about these cars? i know that they are kind of rare. Also i cant find any engine parts, any websites that has performance parts will help! i found parts that are for the 80's SVO mustang, will those parts work the same?

Engine internals yes. Just about everything else...no. The fuel system is different, the exhaust is different and even the turbo is different.

A few of the suspension pieces will swap easily though.

Check Racer Walsh, Esslinger Engineering, and do a search for a few more vendors.
