Default 1993 Mustang 2.3 dies while driving

i have a 1993 5 speed 2.3L convertible that will randomly die while driving. it will crank and crank but not start. if i give it a while it will start again. no codes come back when i read them. i have put in it in the past year a new fuel tank with pump and sending unit, the fuel pump relay control unit, 2 coil packs, ign control mod, ignition switch, fuel filter, regular oil changes and tune up. i took out the switch from the trunk and direct wired it. timing belt is new and TPS, MAF and crank position sensor are new. weather isnt a factor of when it dies. just stumped as how to proceed. i want to sell it soon but i want it running normaly. please help.

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

The only things that come to mind are wiring and the ignition module (which you said you replaced). Did you apply the heat sink compound(white goop) to the back of the module when you installed it? Based on what you described it seems like something may be getting hot, failing, and returning to normal once it cools.

You could always put a meter on the power wire going to the EEC to see if it drops out when the car quits.

Default intermittent problems

Once in a while, new ignition modules do not work. You might see if another new one solves the problems.
