1993 mustang 2.3 knock sensor

hello is there a knock sensor on the 1993 2.3 mustang and if so where is it located. haynes manual is of no help only show older 2.3 motor. and everywhere i look says its on the intake. well its not so where is it?

i think it is in the side of the oilpan or maybe on the lower side of the block...check these spots,if not there i can look at mine tommorrow and be for sure....

No, the dual plug motors (91-93) did not have a knock sensor.

thanks, well im having the same black smoke problem the other guy is having, only mine is fuel injected, plus it wont rev over 3000rpm or go over 30 mph. any help would be great

my bad,i did not know that the 91-93 had no knock sensor.....sorry for the misinfo,but thanks for the right info....
