2.3 turbo swap problems

OK, i have a 92 mustang that I took somewhere along with a 2.3L 2bbl turbo pace car motor to have put in this 92 fox body. However to make a 3month story short they did the install wrong. I am losing fuel or fire at around 40-50mph when i shift out of 3rd into 4th. I am not sure what could cause this? Any ideas? in-line fuel pump or aftermarket ing.???
Someone please help make this car run

why did you use the carb turbo motor? I woul dhave used a later model EFI Turbo.
Did you use your stock 92 Fuel Pump?

Yes, I used the 92 Fuel pump, and I was thinking that may be all my problems but thats why I posted this so I could find out. I used the carb motor just because it was right here waiting to be used. Any help will help alot. Please try to help me. Also What size in-line pump should i use on this motor??? Thank you
