Default 1987 Thunderbird turbo coupe motor in a 1988 Mustang notchback

I put a 87 turbocoupe motor in 88 stick shift notch .....wired in the vain air how it said on stinger performance, put a LA3 turbocoupe computer in, 97 cobra fuel pump, BBK fuel pressure regulator and gauge. Fuel pressure it like 35 to 40, timing is set to 10 degrese, 19 PSI of boost-20 vaccume, plugs gaped to like 28, ehaust is straight piped out the drivers side.......AND YES IT LOUDDDDD. and here is my problom......ever time i go to start it takes a while to start or if u hold the throtle 1/2 the way from the top it will start up every time and it shoots a lil cloud of black smoke out........and when i take it out for a lil while and i come to a stop sighn it shuts offf.....checked the MAP sensor and screwed with the fuel pressure.....but still stalls out when it comming down from higher RPMs....but it starts right back up if i hold the throtle 1/2 from the top. But the car overall runs pretty good expecally when its peged at like 19 PSI .........but some time the car misses and stalls if im not on the throtle after im done beating on it for a while. But never had this problom when it was in the turbocoupe.

Pull codes, do you have the IAC on? also are you sure you wired it right?

Oh, one last thing, is it running rich?

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Like sleeper said iac, also check tps, should be .95 vdc at idle. Check for vac leaks. Check pvc valve must be ford only. other don't seal. Reason I mention this had vac leak in hose to pvc at fitting in upper intake. Also check all boost hoses for holes. Double check pinouts make sure no mistakes. I assume soldered the wires. Also a extra ground from body to intake may help. Also is wire 49 from computer hooked to intake of turbo. Only place this wire goes to no other. Hope helps.
