Im planning on replacing my rear shocks on my SVO but i don't know what decent kind or shocks i can go with. I thought it had the original konis which I was goin to rebuild but to my surprise it had some regular $20 moroes. So dont know what would be a good choice.

Get the Konis, they are adjustable. Don't worry about having old ones rebuilt, as it is the same cost as buying new ones (unless you are the original owner, then it's free)
