can u put a 5.0 header on the 2.3 head

Yes you can. but its more trouble than its worth because you have to move it a little to make it line up right

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

No you can't. Even if you move tubes, the bolt holes won't line up.

The bolt holes on the Windsor heads are in a straight line across the port. They're diagonal on a 2.3.

Grab a factory tube header from a late model 2.3 or 2.5 Ranger. It'll breath better than the cast iron manifold and it'll bolt right up. It will require some fabrication to connect the EGR, and depending on the model year of the donor, you may have to add an O2 sensor bung.
