Default not using the air conditioner

if i take the belt off the air conditioner. Will the heater still work. i dont use the air conditioner cause its cold and at a stop light it tends to stall my car and i have been told that the pulley is ad anyway. I heard it will have a little more power cause it doesnt have to run the air conditioner. but right now im worried about the heater.

The heater should work but the defroster will not perform like it used to. Not 100% positive about Mustangs, but in most cars the a\c compressor runs when defroster is on. I know, sound funny, but A\C evaporators remove moisture from the air supply and assist in defrosting. I didn't believe my Pops when he told me, bet him $20, lost $20.

No It wont have an effect. I've never had a car yet with working A/C (that I've even used also)

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

only real effect will be that the engine will idle higher with the defroster on since the A/C compressor isn't dragging it down, but the computer is still going to open the IAC a little. Engine may surge a little because of this (my '88 LX convertible did it).
