i suggest the polyurethane bushing kit and a set of good struts, like Monroe Sensatrac...on the rear, same bushing kit, good shocks and add a sway bar if you do not alllready have one....

hard to say,the prices in Cali. are alot higher than here.Buy the parts yourself,do some shopping, compare prices on the kits..Energy Suspension had some good deals, and look at others.get your shocks and struts at Advance Auto ,best price i found so far.You can do alot of this work yourself, and save some money.

You want a nice riding stang throw some 2'' lowering springs on and if you want to "fine tune" it put some adjustable shocks on it. I have a set of tokico adjustables on mine like 'em a lot but once you find your setting I haven't adjusted them since so its kind of a waste.

okay the problem with lowering it any lower is that it wont be able to clear speed bumps and etc i want to make sure it has clearance so my bottom part of the car wont continue to scrape itself so i really dont want to lower the car anymore than it already is

I replaced all my rubber bushing with the polyurethane i replaced the springs with eibach lowerings springs i believe 1.25 front 1 rear, 1.5 inch front sway bar and 1 inch back

my ride is stiff, turns on a dime, and no sway (lol)

if you want a soooooth ride you will need a flexable sway bar lose springs. It is hard to find a happy medium when you want to lower it but keeping it smooth

my ride is comfortable but stiff (kind of a bounce) when hitting a bump

Jegs is where I received the polyurethane kit it even included the bushing for the steering rack to raise the rack to help correct the bump steer very important if you are lowering your car
I found for sway bars that i got a better deal when i purchased the front and back (kit) JEGS

the springs came from jegs

The Stock clearance is pretty high I don't see a problem with a mild drop, unless you already have issues with scraping. You could aready have worn springs.

maybe i guess im goin to have to take it to a shop to tell me whats wrong i just know that when i drive it has a hard time going over the rail road tracks over 25mph and the speed limit is 45mph so i stall everyone up by slow going over the rail road tracks but its like what john travolta said in the movie Be Cool if your important enough people will wait but honestly hate waisting the gas to stop when i know if i got new suspension i could drive over it easily so my new question is now how much am i looking to replace springs struts bushings and shocks and whats the difference between rubber bushings and polyurethane bushings i heard the rubber ones last longer than the polyurethane and they provide a much smoother ride

Depends on your budget but you are not going to get the handling you want without spending some $$$$ You want your car to as if it was floating on a cloud that's gonna cost ya but anyways I looked up some prices for you on summitracing.com: Eibach Pro-Kit front and rear springs= $259.95; OEM Springs front/rears= $136.00; Bushings whole kit=$213.00-$159.00 depending what brand; Shocks/Struts= $30.00-$300.00 Depending what style...

Hmmm I wonder if a cadillac suspension can be adapted to fit on his stang....or maybe the air ride on the older lincoln towncars. That'll give him the ride he wants! Sure wouldn't be cheap though........

I don't get why you would buy a Mustang if you want a Lincoln type of ride?
